ABWA is the American Business Women's Association.  It was formed by Hililary A. Bufton Jr. a man in 1949. 

In the 50th Anniversary book it states from humble beginnings ideas and reform can come in many forms to dreamers of change. 

Currently the CEO/Publisher is Carolyn Elman who followed in her fathers footsteps.  You was destined to be involved in ABWA.
